My work is mostly achieved using oils or encaustic wax, these are my favourite mediums. I sometimes use other mediums depending on the subject. I take inspiration from natural flowing lines, of trees, combined with movement and dance shapes,light and shade. I put all of this together and add a bit of fantasy.

The finished works are mostly semi-abstract.

Encaustic wax painting is a very old medium, with a modern twist. Combining the hot waxes allows me the freedom to produce beautiful colours and fabulous shapes.
I work the wax onto wooden panels, this shows textures and colours at their best. I also do some onto card and frame under glass. These works are very collectable, no two works can ever the same.
